en: Taking as a reference the National Development Plan (NDP) 2013-2018 project which must respond to: transnational globalization scenarios and the economic competitiveness, it reaffirms the commitment to free trade, capital mobility, regulation and promotion by the State in the process of implementing a strategic policy of industrial development, through the National Agreement for the Development of Multimodal Corridors, in order to encourage and promote a harmonize in the city hall development programs with the national policy , as well as the sum of the participation of public, private and social institutions. It is recognized the Central West Regional Development Program as an programmatic instrument, it is also established a framework for a holistic development of the region, in which is defined the general and action guidelines in order to give certainty to investments that could set up their industrial clusters in a municipality. These actions will lead a master plan for a logistical corridor of automotive industrial in the Bajío arranging an empirical longitudinal study which evaluated the productive and dynamic territorial transformations for determining the authorization of land usage changes and building licence for a neoliberal urbanization.>>>

en: This paper analyzes urban expansion and socio-territorial transformations in the city hall of Calimaya, from1990 to 2010, within the framework of urban growth of the metropolitan area of Toluca, through a linear retrospective analysis of demographic, dwelling and economic variables, also by the usage of documentary and statistical research of state and local Urban Development offices and INEGI, with the aim of showing that the changes are not exclusive of large urban agglomerations since those are clearly observed in small urban communities as the municipality of Calimaya.>>>

en: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the ecological and visual quality of urban waterway ecosystem of the Tamazula river. Different ecological quality index were adapted and a survey was carried out to the Culiacán inhabitant. The results showed a discrepancy between ecological and visual quality. In addition it was found that vegetation plays an important role in the ecological and visual assessment. From the results, it is suggested the creation of a holistic management plan, in order to achieve that the recreational opportunities which the ecosystem offers are compatible with ecological and visual aspects.>>>
