In 2014 it had 1.592 papers, that accounted for 1,44% of the region. That is, it had a drop of -14,27%) and from Redalyc (which it had 875 articles in 2005 that they accounted for 5,5% of the region; in 2014 had 791 articles, which represented 3.0% of the region. So, it fell -9,6%); this database allows further appreciation about a high rate of concentration in the scientic and editorial production of Venezuela, as well as an endogenous behavior in terms of production and collaboration.>>>

Within this management, social networks allow, engage in an informal, but institutional dialogue with partners. This paper shows the union professors communications management in one faculty of the Universidad del Zulia, during the period 2010-2015, through various digital platforms of social networks. Interview and documental research were the way to collect data. It was observed a sustained increase in the unionized response, to the management communication of the branch , showing a constant and two-way interaction that previously did not exist. This experience leads to the conclusion that, for the Union, social networks, represent an alternative to empower communicatively the unionized , not only to keep informed in real time of events that can happen in their university environment, but also given the opportunity to take positions about the environment and to have an inÀuence on it.>>>

en: The documentary theoretical component (curriculum design) and the curriculum managing of the Masterliness of Science in Information, mention: Knowledge Management from the Division of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Humanities and Education at the University of Zulia-Venezuela are evaluated. The main theoretical references that support the study are some existing models aimed to evaluate the curriculum of graduate programs, such as those proposed by Inciarte (2005), Tellez (2011) and Restrepo, Sanchez and Uribe (2006). The methodological strategy consisted on the triangulation of techniques, research tools and actors. The documentary content analysis, focus group and survey which relied on instruments such as the checklist, the script of questions and a questionnaire designed with the Likert scale were the techniques used. The results from the theoretical and documentary assessment reveal the need to: review the concept-based approach that support the Master, improve the coherence between the graduate pro¿le and the curriculum net, as well as redirect some curricular units. Some of the results of the curricular program management showed strengths in terms of academic teachers training, effectiveness in supporting administrative processes and an adequate physical infrastructure for developing activities, while the highlighting weaknesses reported the obsolescence of the technological platform and delays in the availability of tutors.>>>

en: In the last decade, the concept of city branding has been consolidated in the academic literature as an important marketing strategy for the promotion and the management of the image of the city. However, there has been a recent debate regarding the dif¿culties to transfer the city brand theory to actual practice. Based on the above, this research argues that the application of city branding to the management of the image of the city has been limited by the gap between business management and urban management. Therefore, it is necessary to reÀect about the theoretical foundations of city branding (derived from the discipline of marketing) in order to understand its scope and its limits in the management of the image of the city. Based on this analysis, it is suggested that the theoretical and methodological development of city branding must be complemented by other disciplines more related to the study of the image of the city. Branding must be complemented by other disciplines more related to the study of the image of the city.>>>
